High School Students

Campbell Interest and Skills Survey® Career Assessment

How many 17 year olds know what major to choose when they are going to college or what they want to do in their career beyond college? The CISS Career Assessment helps students uncover clusters of careers that match up with their current strengths and interests.  It also identifies the educational background of other workers in those fields who are curently satisfied with their jobs.  Students can then explore potential careers and majors that match up with their interests.

The CISS considers seven Orientation Scales:  Influencing, Organizing, Helping, Creating, Analyzing, Producing and Adventuring which cover the major divisions of the world or work.  An interest score and a skill score are provided for each respondent on each Orientation.  The CISS is a journey of self-discovery that measure strengths and interests and creates a list of careers to Pursue, Explore, Develop and Avoid.

The on-line assessment results include a review of your personal strengths, suggested environments where you will succeed, information on possible careers that match your skills and interests, majors that map to those careers, and much more.
